Randomness

The ants attacked the Halloween candy this morning. Thank goodness I can feel good about throwing that all away today!

The pumpkin shortage is over...that's the good news. Thanks everyone for the tips on where to buy it. Funny enough I stocked up on pumpkin yet I've been buying pumpkin pies from places like Costco and Trader Joe's because they are oh so yummy. I'll save my pumpkin cans for the next shortage.

Sometimes I just feel an overwhelming urge to just hang on to my kids so tight and never let them go. Of course they wriggle free before I can smother them with kisses but those few minutes they are snuggled up in my arms is so wonderful. Ben is the best at this. He loves giving me kisses and hugs and will just come up to me at random times during the day, give me a kiss, and say "I love you mom".

If it's true what they say that the way your child acts at 2, 4, 6 correlates with how they will act at 12, 14, 16 etc... I'm taking offers now to house a 16 year old in 10 years. Any takers?

NOooooooooooooooooooooo! I have never heard this before. I AM SCREWED!!!

One of my clients owns three islands that are deserted... that's my plan b. Move the kids there and let them fend for themselves.

I just read a few days ago that the pumpkin shortage is back again. Apparently Nestle makes 90% of all canned pumpkin and they grow all of their pumpkins in the same place in Illinois. It rained too hard this year and they couldn't pick the pumpkins. Hence... new pumpkin shortage. Oh, and there's also an Eggo shortage until this summer. It's like we live in Communist Russia....

Perhaps we could rent a house and ship all of our precious ones there when the time comes:)
